Protection, Ventilation, Weight Saving, GO NUTS The TLD A3 MIPS Open Face MTB Helmet is a new offering from TLD. Am improved version of MIPS is incorporated (B32 Solutions), integrated into the retention system. The helmet is a cooler and faster helmet with deeper coverage, aimed at MTB/Enduro Trail riders. Uniquely Secure Fit The fit/retention system, new from TLD is a micro adjust ratchet system. new TLD fit system, full 360, micro ratchet adjustable system. The buckle is a v2 fidlock-magnetic buckle which can be easily used with gloves, with one hand, and without the risk of pinching skin. Different sized padding is provided and available separately to ensure a uniquely secure fit. Comfort A wide range of glasses and goggles have been trialled and approved for use with the TLD A3 helmet. An EVA sweat management system is in place, helping direct sweat away from the eyes and glasses. This, and the 2 piece Xstatic liner are removable for washing, and replaceable to avoid smelly helmet syndrome. You can really get down and dirty in this helmet! Visor The visor is 3 position adjustable, including goggle stowage via an Automatic Magnetic System allowing for fast, secure, and accurate visor positioning. The screws holding the visor to the helmet are smart shear screws, for added safety, with an anodised aluminium washer. Protection The A3 has the deepest coverage of TLD’s open face MTB helmets. The impact absorbing liner is a dual density EPS/EPP co-moulded liner, coupled with the latest MIPS technology. Of course, the helmet has Australian Standard Certification. Unique Precision Sizing TLD’s A3 Helmet has been designed to provide the most precise fit of any open face helmet on the market. A video is attached which you can use to ensure a perfect fit. It is important to check the sizing chart and carefully measure your head following the instructions given. This helmet is sized differently to other TLD helmets, so you must use the A3 sizing chart. Sizing Pads The TLD A3 pads come in 2 sizes to make one shell size into 2 sizes, for instance, using the 6mm helmet liners will make the Small helmet Small, using the 12mm liners will make the Small shell X-Small, the Medium Helmet Shell is a Large using the 6mm liners, likewise, the XX-Large is X-Large using the 12mm liners. Sizing the helmet in this way ensures the retention strap does not have to be over tightened to provide a secure fit. The 6mm pads come pre-installed, and the 12mm pads are included in the box. The pads are also available separately, helping to keep your helmet new and fresh for many many kilometres. Australian Standards In Australia, cyclists are required by law to wear an approved helmet while riding your bike, and all helmets sold by Pushys meet the required AS/NZS 2063:2008 standard.
