Tae grew up here, learning to ride on these same streets that our customers explore today. What began as a kid's fascination with how bikes work became a lifelong obsession. He spent years tinkering, riding, breaking things, fixing them better than before. He traveled throughout Thailand and beyond, meeting mechanics, learning techniques, understanding what makes a bike shop truly great versus merely adequate.
The early days were humble—a small workshop, a handful of tools, and a commitment to doing every job properly. Word spread the way it always does among cyclists: one rider tells another, who tells another. The touring cyclist whose trip was saved by a same-day spoke replacement. The local rider whose bike finally shifted smoothly after years of issues. The visitor who rented a bike and discovered the backroads of Nakhon Sawan.
Today, Modern Bike is exactly what we set out to create: a proper cycling hub in the heart of Nakhon Sawan. We're the shop that international touring cyclists seek out. We're where local riders bring their bikes for maintenance they can trust.
